Context In D3.5 INSPIRE Network Services Architecture Version 3, « Invoke Spatial Data Service » is defined, at conceptual level, as service that "allows defining both the data inputs and data outputs expected by the spatial service and define a workflow or service chain combining multiple services". However NS DT still not defines guidance or implementing rules for InvokeSD service type since "submission for opinion of the INSPIRE committee of IR for the services allowing spatial data services to be invoked" is targeted at proposal date of June 2012.
Rationale InvokeSD service is still at conceptual level, NS DS will address this subject by June 2012. Meanwhile, GEOSS and GMES projects would continue to adopt WPS standard. To prevent any interoperability issue between INSPIRE InvokeSD and others GEOSS or GMES geographic processing, GIGAS consortium recommend to consider adoption of OGC WPS standard.
