Additional information

Context	INSPIRE Architecture defines the Transformation Service to help the other types of services to work in conformance with the related IRs. Consequently, a Transformation Service could potentially be combined with any other INSPIRE services as a service chain. This definition complies with ISO 19119 definition of geographic processing services.
Rationale	Coordinate Transformation Service approach is based on OGC Web Coordinate Transformation Service (WCTS) which has, now, the obsolete status at OGC. Aims of Transformation is to be invoked by other INSPIRE services to provide required transformation service for data and metadata harmonization. It is recommended to adopt OGC WPS standard for InvokeSD service that is defined to support service chaining including Transformation service. GEOSS and GMES projects adopt OGC WPS standard for geographic processing as defined in ISO 19119.
