Welcome to the GIGAS forum

The GIGAS project studies opportunities to bridge interoperability gaps between the GEOSS, INSPIRE and GMES initiatives and focusses on the use of ISO, OGC and CEN standards. Furthermore it monitors research projects that are dealing with related technologies.

The GIGAS forum is a meeting place for stakeholders interested in these issues. It offers:

• The technical analysis on interoperability topics between GEOSS, INSPIRE and GMES
• An overview of identified interoperability issues and recommended solutions
